ALBANY POLICE

ALBANY - On June 29, Kristopher W. Genskay, 38, Brodhead, was arrested for knowingly violating a 72-hour domestic abuse injunction.

On July 1:

• Michael S. Fry, 25, Oshkosh, was cited for outside consumption of alcohol.

• Artero A. Lopez, 33, Monroe, was cited for outside consumption of alcohol.

• Zakary A. Kurtz, 23, Janesville, was cited for outside consumption of alcohol.

• Tacouba A. Abdoulaye, 27, Madison, was cited for driving with a suspended license and without vehicle insurance.

On July 2:

• Matthew H. Payne, 23, Chicago, was cited for public urination.

• Devon L. Steitz, 25, Brodhead, was arrested for driving while intoxicated.



BRODHEAD POLICE

BRODHEAD - On July 2:

• A 21-year-old Janesville woman was cited at 7:55 a.m. for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• A parking complaint was made at 10:09 a.m. in the 1000 block of 2st Street.

• A 21-year-old St. Michael, Minnesota, woman was cited at 4:08 p.m. for speeding in the 1800 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A fireworks violation was reported at 8:10 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 4th Avenue.

On July 3:

• Illegal dumping was reported at 6:32 a.m. in the 2400 block of East 9th Avenue.

• A theft was reported at 2:59 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 6:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A trespasser was reported at 6:55 p.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue.

• A barking dog was reported at 5:26 p.m. in the 600 block of East 4th Avenue.

• A fireworks violation was reported at 9:47 p.m. in the 200 block of Cedar Avenue.

• Illegal burning was reported at 10:32 p.m. in the N400 block of East 2nd Avenue.

On July 4:

• A theft was reported at 1:16 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A traffic complaint was made at 1:53 p.. in the 200 block of 8th Street.

• An ATV violation was reported at 8:14 p.m. in the 2500 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• An ordinance violation was reported at 9:18 p.m. in the N400 block of East 2nd Avenue.

• A fireworks violation was reported at 10:16 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 6th Avenue.

• An 18-year-old Brodhead man and a 19-year-old Beloit man were both cited at 11:23 p.m. for disorderly conduct in the 1000 block of 21st Street.

On Thursday:

• A dog at large was reported at 10:12 a.m. in the East 200 block of 23rd Street.

• Damage to property was reported at 11 a.m. in the 500 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A missing person was reported at 2:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of East 5th Avenue. The person was located shortly thereafter.

• A fireworks violation was reported at 8:05 p.m. in the 1000 block of 19th Street.

On Friday:

• A 22-year-old Brodhead woman was cited at 10:48 a.m. for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• Harassment was reported at 11:09 a.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street.

• Fraudulent telephone calls were reported at 4:13 p.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street.

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 5:32 p.m. in the 200 block of 12th Street.

• A 37-year-old Albany man was cited at 9:05 p.m. for speeding in the 100 block of 23rd Street.

On Saturday:

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 5:20 p.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street.

• A 30-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 5:38 p.m. for domestic disorderly conduct in the 500 block of West 2nd Avenue.

• A gas drive-off was reported at 8:44 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• Possible animal neglect was reported at 9:57 p.m. in the 700 block of East 7th Avenue. The animal in question could not be located.



MONROE POLICE

MONROE - David M. Hardin, 23, Monroe, was arrested at 3:59 a.m. Friday for a Green County child support warrant in the 2300 block of 15th Avenue. Hardin was jailed.



NEW GLARUS POLICE

NEW GLARUS - On July 2:

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 1:50 p.m. with a residential alarm in the W5500 block of Spring Valley Road.

• Alexander G. Koller, 19, Monroe, was cited at 3:54 p.m. for speeding in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69.

• Dogs inside a parked vehicle were reported at 4:09 p.m. in the 200 block of 6th Avenue. The dogs were found to be fine.

• Richard W. Delestowicz, 48, Brookfield, Illinois, was cited at 6 p.m. for speeding in the 600 block of Wis. 69.

• Robyn L. Wenger, 22, Monroe, was cited at 8:14 p.m. for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at the intersection of County W and Elmer Road.

On July 3:

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 6:29 p.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

• Travis P. Weiss, 29, Monroe, was cited at 7:05 p.m. for illegal window tinting on Wis. 69.

• Joshua D. Eichelkraut, 62, New Glarus, was cited at 8:05 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Durst Road.

• Philip F. Kietzke, 64, Mount Horeb, was cited at 8:06 p.m. for driving with an expired vehicle registration on Wis. 69.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 10:51 p.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

On July 4:

• A suspicious person was reported at 11:20 a.m. in the 1000 block of Wis. 69.

• Police assisted a citizen at 7:52 p.m. with climbing some stairs.

• Police warned a citizen at 9:29 p.m. about using fireworks in the 100 block of 10th Avenue.

On Wednesday:

• Suspicious circumstances were reported at 12:48 a.m. in the 100 block of Cow Path Lane.

• A curfew violation was reported at 1:19 a.m. in the 600 block of Wis. 69.

• A curfew violation was reported at 1:47 a.m. in the 200 block of 4th Avenue.

• A parking violation was reported at 9:50 a.m. in the 800 block of Railroad Street.

• Police kept the peace at 10:49 p.m. during a property exchange in the 500 block of 14th Avenue.

• Police removed debris from the roadway at 8:24 p.m. in the 4900 block of Kubly Road.

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:18 p.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

On Thursday:

• A traffic complaint was made at 3:10 a.m. in the 200 block of Industrial Drive.

• A dog at large was reported at 10:19 a.m. in the 1300 block of Wis. 69.

• A dog in a vehicle was reported at 2:25 p.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street.

• Lexie E. Voerdermann, 18, Monroe, was cited at 6 p.m. for following too closely in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

• Whitney J. Warwick, 48, South Wayne, was cited at 6:20 p.m. for a seatbelt violation and non-registration of a vehicle on Wis. 69.

• Kenna M. Kirsnis, 29, New Glarus, was cited at 7:02 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• Thomas E. Reilly, 65, Brooklyn, was cited at 7:20 p.m. for a seatbelt violation on Wis. 69.

• Aaron P. Newton, 33, Argyle, was cited at 7:55 p.m. for a seatbelt violation, driving with a suspended license and without vehicle insurance on Wis. 69.

• Holly Marie Boggs, 34, Hartford, was cited at 8:50 p.m. for speeding in the 1100 block of Wis. 69.

On Friday:

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 1:05 a.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd Street.

• A suspicious person was reported at 1:44 a.m. in the 600 block of Wis. 69. The person was looking for a lost phone on the bike trail. Anyone who has found a phone is encouraged to return it to the police department.

• Police helped unlock a vehicle at 12:11 p.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 4:04 p.m. with a call in the W5300 block of Spring Valley Road.

• A lost cell phone was reported at 5:09 p.m. in the downtown area. Anyone who locates a phone is encouraged to return it to the police department.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff at 7:05 p.m. with a traffic complaint.

• Police cited a vehicle at 8:04 p.m. for improper parking in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• Police checked several juveniles' welfare at 9:13 p.m.

On Saturday:

• A traffic complaint was made at 12:33 p.m. after a section of road was closed for a group cutting down a tree in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue. The road was reopened when it was determined a street permit had not been issued.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff with a stray dog at 10:14 p.m. that had been found on County J.

On Sunday:

• Hay bales in the roadway were reported at 12:25 p.m. at the intersection of Wis. 69 and Industrial Drive.

• Police assisted the Department of Natural Resources at 2:18 p.m. with an injured cow on the Sugar River Trail.



GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF

MONROE - On Saturday:

• Richard W. Jarosz, 48, Monroe, was cited at 2:32 a.m. for driving with a suspended license in the W8600 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan.

• Shawn R. Lounsbury, 34, Beloit, was cited at 6:55 p.m. for speeding in the W500 block of County F, Town of Decatur.

On Sunday, Mayra Robles, 25, South Beloit, was arrested at 5:09 p.m. on a Beloit Police warrant after she was reported trespassing with an associate in the W1200 block of Decatur-Albany Road, Town of Decatur.



LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Jose A. Aguilar-Guevara, 36, Darlington, was cited at 9:17 a.m. for driving without a valid license on County P, Town of Gratiot.

• A deputy assisted the Darlington Police at 11:57 a.m. on County K in Darlington.

• Jack R. Korte, 19, Scales Mound, Illinois, was cited at 10:21 p.m. for speeding on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

On Saturday:

• A disabled vehicle was reported at 3:35 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota.

• A deputy provided traffic control at 11:58 a.m. in Darlington.

• A deputy helped keep the peace at 3:08 p.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne.

• Brent E. Dammen, 30, Argyle, was cited at 5:28 p.m. for failing to stop at a stop sign on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont.

• Holly B. Mitchell, 20, Cartersville, Georgia, was cited at 7:14 p.m. for driving without proof of vehicle insurance on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

• A deputy investigated an open door at 9:19 p.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.
