BRODHEAD - For the week of Dec. 27 to Jan. 2, there were 132 calls for service, 19 security checks, 18 citizen assists, 15 registrations, 11 assists of other agencies, 11 traffic stops, nine EMS calls, two 911 calls and one fire call. Fourteen winter parking citations were issued throughout the week.
On Dec. 27, a 54-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 1:46 p.m. on a Rock County Sheriff's warrant.
On Dec. 28:
• A 25-year-old Brodhead man was arrested at 11:26 a.m. on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant in the 2200 block of West 5th Avenue.
• A cable in the roadway was reported at 3:40 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 6th Avenue. The cable was removed.
On Dec. 29:
• A noise violation was reported at 3:24 a.m. in the 1500 block of 16th Street. An agreement was reached between the complainant and the offender, a snow removal crew.
• A 38-year-old Brodhead woman was arrested at 2:11 p.m. on a third-offense charge of driving without a license in the 100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

MONROE - On Thursday, Antonio Fernandes Bettencourt, 42, Merrimac, was cited at 3:29 p.m. in the 1000 block of 9th Street for theft.
On Friday, Kassandra L. Gonzales, 23, Monroe, was cited at 3:30 a.m. for keeping a disorderly house in the 700 block of 12th Avenue following a complaint of a disturbance.

NEW GLARUS - On Dec. 29:

• People were reported living in an attic at 3:01 p.m. at a village residence. It was discovered that there were no people living in the attic.
• A New Glarus woman reported at 7:26 p.m. a sexual assault that had reportedly occurred in the village approximately 1.5 years ago. The incident remains under investigation.
• A different New Glarus woman reported at 10:06 p.m. a sexual assault in the village. The incident remains under investigation.
• Alexander S. Chiarello, 17, New Glarus, and Sydney R. Doeseckle, 17 Belleville, were arrested and charged with armed robbery after a joint investigation between the New Glarus and Madison police departments regarding an armed robbery on Dec. 2, 2015 at a convenience store on Mohawk Drive in Madison. Chiarello and Doeseckle were turned over to the Madison police and jailed in Dane County.
On Wednesday, police assisted Green County Human Services at 10:50 p.m. with a case.

On Thursday, Taylor M. Yaun, 19, Monroe, was arrested at 10:07 a.m. on a child support warrant. Yaun was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. Yaun was jailed.
