MONROE - Robert P. Bennett, 27, and Francesca R. Swenson, 24, both of Monticello, were arrested at 12:09 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of 6th Avenue for retail theft. Bennett and Swenson were released pending court.

MONROE - Raymundo Gutierrez Tapia, 42, Madison, was cited at 12:08 a.m. Wednesday for driving with a suspended license and an expired vehicle registration in the N7700 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. Tapia was released pending court.

• A deputy assisted the Iowa County Sheriff's Department at 8:35 a.m. with an injured deer reported on County F.
• A trespasser was reported at 11:52 a.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.
• A dog running at large was reported at 3:25 p.m. on First Avenue in Benton.
• Kelly M. Humphrey, 52, Benton, was arrested at 5:10 p.m. on a Cuba City warrant on Whaley Court in Benton. Humphrey was released on bond.
