BRODHEAD - For the week of Jan. 7 to Jan. 13, the Brodhead Police Department reported 16 calls for service, nine vehicle registrations, 46 citizen assists, 20 security checks, seven assists with other agencies, six traffic stops, 16 911 calls, one fire call and 10 EMS calls.
On Jan. 8:
A 21-year-old Brodhead woman was cited for theft of property at 11:55 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.
A 72-year-old Brodhead man was cited for driving after revocation at 1:36 p.m. in the N400 block of 1st Center Avenue.
Loud music was reported at 4:44 p.m. in the 900 block of 19th Street. The music was turned down prior to the officer's arrival; the complainant did not wish to pursue charges.
A traffic crash was reported at 10:16 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The crash was non-reportable; no citations were issued.
On Jan. 9:
A 29-year-old Capron, Illinois, man was cited for spilling waste load on highway at 11:49 a.m. in the 100 block of 1st Street. The load was not secure.
A 27-year-old Janesville woman was cited for improper stop at stop sign proceeding railroad at 10:54 p.m. in the 900 block of East 9th Avenue.
On Jan. 11:
A 73-year-old Evansville man was cited for no proof of insurance at 9:16 a.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.
On Jan. 12:
A 44-year-old Brodhead woman was cited for passing in a no passing zone at 6:45 a.m. in the 1100 block of East 9th Avenue.
A 25-year-old Brodhead woman was cited for speeding-school crossing at 7:24 a.m. in the 2000 block of West 9th Avenue.
Disorderly conduct was reported at 12:15 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. A subject was involvled in a verbal altercation. Contact was made and a warning was issued.
A 36-year-old Janesville man was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed at 2:47 p.m. in the 2200 block of West 5th Avenue.
Disorderly conduct was reported at 3:38 p.m. in the 800 block of 1st Center Avenue. Two subjects were involved in a verbal altercation. Contact was made and both parties received warnings.
A 48-year-old Brodhead man was cited for driving after revocation at 11:42 p.m. in the 2500 block of East 3rd Avenue.
On Saturday:
A 23-year-old Brodhead man was cited for failure to yield for a pedestrian at 6:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue.

MONROE - On Friday:
Jeremy E. Franklin, 23, Juda was arrested on a warrant issued by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for failure to pay fine at 11:43 a.m. Jeremy was taken into custody without incident and jailed at the Green Count Jail, pending bond being posted.
On Sunday:
Ashley R. Neuenschwander, 20, Monroe, was arrested for operating while under the influence of alcohol (3rd offense) and obstructing an officer at 3:24 a.m. in the W5400 block of County NN in New Glarus. Neuenschwander was also cited for underage possession/consumption of alcohol. Bond was posted for Neuenschwander and she was released pending court.

Austin D. Flood, 22, Monroe, was arrested for abuse of a hazardous substance by inhaling chemicals and bail jumping due to a violation of bail conditions on a prior case at 3:43 p.m. in the 900 block of 16th Avenue. Flood was confined in the Green County Jail pending court.
