Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Jamison R. Schumacher, 18, Belmont, was arrested on a charge of violating probation at about 12 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at the Darlington Probation and Parole Office. He remains in jail.

- Three teenage boys from Darlington were cited with disorderly conduct on Tuesday, Feb. 21, following a department investigation into a fight that occurred Feb. 15 in the 600 block of Wells Street.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Maricela Nicolas-Uriarte, 28, of rural Brodhead, was cited for driving without a valid license and causing injury, failing to maintain control and obstructing an officer at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash in the N900 block of County G in the Town of Spring Grove. Brodhead EMS, Fire and Police also responded to the scene. Nicolas-Uriarte reportedly lost control of the vehicle and veered into a ditch, side-swiping a utility pole and then sliding into an open field where she collided with a metal septic system pipe, causing the vehicle to overturn one time. She sustained injuries but declined treatment. A passenger, Jose Luis Villar, 27, also of rural Brodhead, was injured and transported by Med Flight to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He had not been wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Joshua S. Womack, 20, Belmont, was arrested at 8:29 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at a residence on Hazel Street in Belmont on a charge of violating probation. He was jailed.

- Sandra Rodriguez, 40, Lake Geneva, was cited for driving without a valid driver's license following a traffic stop at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, on Wisconsin 23 in the Town of Darlington.

- Criminal damage to a mailbox on County Y in the Town of Wiota was reported at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21. The incident occurred sometime over the weekend.
