Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday:

• Albert L. Crockett, 18, Freeport, was arrested and jailed for retail theft and obstruction at 3:44 p.m. after police responded to a report of shoplifting in the 400 block of West 8th Street. Crockett allegedly stole merchandise valued at $27 and gave a false name to investigators.

• David C. Friedli, 37, Monroe, was arrested and jailed for battery, strangulation and false imprisonment at 3:53 p.m. after police responded Wednesday to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of 23rd Avenue. According to a police spokesperson, the incident remains under investigation.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Jasmine A.D. Martin, 22, Janesville, was cited for operating without a valid license at 10:27 p.m. Thursday after police stopped her on Wisconsin 11 at Hartwig Road in the Town of Sylvester. She was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Thursday:

• A suspicious vehicle was reported at 2:42 p.m. on County Z in the Town of Willow Springs.

• Zachary D. Wild, 30, Menasha, was arrested and jailed for domestic-abuse-related disorderly conduct at 6:02 p.m. after police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on River Lane in the Town of Blanchard. He posted bond and was released.
