Monroe Police
MONROE - Shawn W. Boss, 18, Monroe, was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct after police investigated a report of violence March 26 in Twining Park. An officer on patrol at 5:10 p.m. was approached by a man claiming to have been beaten up by a group of people in the park. Investigation revealed the man had been involved in a fight with another adult male, who was accompanied by a group of juvenile males. The victim, a 21-year-old Monroe man, was struck with a stick during the fight. He sustained a minor injury. Boss was released pending court. The incident remains under investigation.
On April 2:
♦ A person displaying an alleged firearm was reported at 6:27 p.m. in the 2300 block of 18th Avenue. About 30 minutes later the person was stopped in the 2700 block of 18th Street. The firearm was actually a BB pistol. Courtney J. Jackson, 21, Monroe, was charged with disorderly conduct, and was later booked and released pending a court appearance.
♦ Seancody L. Anderson, 23, Darlington, was arrested on three active warrants through the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department at 10:17 p.m. in the 300 block of 3rd Street. Anderson was unable to post a cash bond and was confined in the Green County Jail pending transport to Lafayette County.

MONROE - On April 2:
♦ Danielle J. Donohue, 26, Verona, was arrested at 2:10 p.m. at the Green County Probation and Parole Office, 2800 block of 6th St in the City of Monroe. Donohue was arrested on a warrant that was issued by the Wisconsin Department of Community Corrections. Donohue was jailed.
On April 3:
♦ Nicholas D. Gille, 39, Monroe, was cited for operating while revoked (crime) and failure to install an ignition interlock device at 9:53 a.m. in the W5200 block of Wis. 59 in Monroe. Gille was released pending court.
Brodhead Police
BRODHEAD - For the week of March 25 to March 31 the Brodhead Police Department reported: eight calls for service, 14 follow up to incidents, 20 vehicle registrations, 45 citizen assists, 12 security checks, 15 assist other agencies, 15 traffic stops, 15 911 calls, three fire calls and five EMS calls.
On March 25:
♦ An unknown intoxicated subject was reported at 2:52 a.m. in the 1400 block of 14th Street. A responsible party was located and took custody of the subject.
♦ A code violation was reported at 3:05 p.m. in the 400 block of East 5th Street. A residence had a large amount of refuse/trash lying around the property. The owner was contacted and a warning was issued.
♦ A gas drive off was reported at 7:16 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. It was determined this was an oversight; no charges were filed.
On March 26:
♦ Theft was reported at 11:13 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. A food item of undisclosed value was taken. The case remains under investigation.
On March 28:
♦ A 40-year-old Lena, Illinois, man was cited for unsafe turn at intersection following a traffic crash at 11:33 a.m. in the 400 block of 1st Center Avenue.
♦ A 49-year-old Elizabeth, Illinois, man was arrested on a warrant issued by the Rock County Sheriff's Office at 7:29 p.m. in the 400 block of 1st Center Avenue. He was also issued citations for failure/obey traffic sign/signal, operating after suspension and keep open intoxicants in motor vehicle.
On March 30:
♦ A 56-year-old Brodhead man was cited for motor vehicle windows not reasonable cleaned at 10:53 p.m. in the E400 block of 23rd Street.
