Albany Police

ALBANY - Kevin R. Maguire, 46, Albany, was arrested Wednesday, April 24, on charges of driving while intoxicated (first offense) and operating left of center.

• A 16-year-old male was cited Monday, April 22, for disorderly conduct at the Albany School.

• Whitney M. Clasen, 22, Albany, was cited Sunday, April 28, for loud and unnecessary noise.

Monroe Police

MONROE - A 10-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl, both of Monroe, were charged with burglary and driving a vehicle without the owner's consent after officers followed up on a report from Freeport police that the brother and sister had been caught driving a stolen vehicle there on Saturday, April 20. An investigation revealed the siblings broke in through a window afterhours that day at Kundert Auto and Truck Services, 1224 18th St., took the keys for a 2004 Chevy Cavalier and drove the car to Freeport. They were taken to Rock County Juvenile Detention pending court. The siblings may face other charges in Illinois. The car was towed back to Monroe and returned to its owner.

• Brian R. Green, 31, Monroe, was arrested in the 300 block of 2nd Street at 9:36 p.m. Friday, April 26, on an outstanding warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department for theft. He was jailed.

• Rene P. Zimmerman, 33, New Glarus, was arrested in the 1000 block of 17th Avenue at 10:39 p.m. Saturday, April 27, on an outstanding warrant issued by the Green County Sheriff's Department for driving with a revoked license. He was jailed.

• William T. Siegenthaler, 36, Monroe, was arrested at a residence in the 2000 block of 15th Avenue on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and bail jumping after police investigated a report of domestic abuse at 4:24 p.m. Sunday, April 28. Siegenthaler allegedly punched, kicked and slapped the mother of his child the previous night. Officers convinced the alleged victim to have a checkup at Monroe Clinic for her injuries.

• Markus A. Wallgren, 24, Argyle, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and bail jumping after police responded to a report of an intoxicated person causing a disturbance at Stop-N-Go, 1607 9th St., at 4:41 p.m. Sunday, April 28. Wallgren also reportedly wandered into the lane of traffic on the street.

• Tanner M. Blummer, 16, Monroe, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way after police responded to a two-vehicle accident without injuries in the 800 block of 6th Avenue West at 5:47 p.m. Friday, April 26. Blummer collided with a vehicle driven by Rachel M. Hocking, 23, Shullsburg. Both vehicles were moderately damaged.

• Adrian I. Ugalde-Chapman, 18, Monroe, was cited for prowling after officers responded to a report of a parked vehicle with its door open in the 2000 block of Lincoln Road at 3:26 a.m. Saturday, April 27. Upon arrival, police found Ugalde-Chapman hiding behind a nearby tree. Neighbors claimed they'd seen him going through backyards in the area.

• The theft of a car trailer was reported at 8:16 a.m. Thursday, April 25, from Kundert Auto and Truck Services, 1224 18th St. The case remains under investigation. The car trailer has not been recovered.

• A landlord in the 500 block of West 21st Street reported a yelling match with a former tenant at 1:22 p.m. Friday, April 26. Officers determined the case is civil, not criminal.

• Police responded to a complaint of people being loud at a residence in the area of 13th Avenue and 14th Street at 10:44 p.m. Friday, April 26.

• An employee at Taco Bell, 606 W. 8th St., asked police to clear people from the restaurant's parking lot at 11:18 p.m. Friday, April 26.

• The theft of a hat with earflaps was reported at an apartment in the 2300 block of 5th Avenue at 10:10 a.m. Sunday, April 28.

• Two men who have been served no-trespassing notices for an apartment complex in the 800 block of 6th Street were warned for trespassing there after police responded to complaints at 1:17 p.m. and 4:17 p.m. Sunday, April 28.

• Harassing text messages were reported at 4:56 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in the 800 block of 15th Avenue.

• Police responded to a complaint of a dog barking in the 1200 block of 12th Street at 8:34 p.m. Sunday, April 28. Nobody came to the door when police knocked at the residence. The puppy appeared to have adequate water and food.

• Police responded to a complaint of loud music coming from a parked vehicle in the 900 block of 24th Street at 10:18 p.m. Sunday, April 28. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Lionel J. Dumond, Jr., 47, New Glarus, was cited Tuesday, April 23, for unlawful use of a telephone after deputies investigated a complaint of harassment the previous day at 10:08 a.m.

• Zachary R. Suddeth, 21, Madison, was cited for driving with a suspended license and suspended vehicle registration at 6:31 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, on 11th Avenue at Railroad Street.

• Kacy L. Dearing, 39, New Glarus, was cited for driving with a revoked license and no vehicle insurance and failing to install an ignition interlock device on 6th Avenue at 1st Street at 6:21 p.m. Saturday, April 27.

• Jeremy F. Nelson, 18, New Glarus, was cited for speeding on Elmer Road at Valle Tell Drive at 8:04 p.m. Sunday, April 28.

• A theft of money was reported at 11:15 a.m. Monday, April 22.

• A juvenile was taken into protective custody after police responded at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, to a location in the village to check on the welfare of the juvenile.

• A missing child reported at 8:33 a.m. Thursday, April 25, was located in the garage. No further action was taken.

• A 17-year-old student at the New Glarus High School was cited for truancy at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 26.

• New Glarus police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department with 911 calls on Argyle Road at 9:33 a.m. and 10:38 a.m. Friday, April 26, and again at 9:31 a.m. Saturday, April 27.

• New Glarus police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department with a call in Belleville regarding an out-of-control juvenile female who was throwing items and destroying property at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, April 27.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Arnold L. Hansen, Jr., 40, Brodhead, was arrested on two warrants and cited for a criminal offense of driving with a revoked license after deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding in the W700 block of Wisconsin 11 in Spring Grove Township at 12:20 a.m. Sunday, April 28. One warrant was issued by Green County for failure to pay child support; the other was issued by Brodhead Police for failure to pay a fine. Hansen was jailed pending court.

• Joanna J. Ace, 34, Albany, was arrested on a charge of felony bail jumping after deputies were called to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Albany at 3:39 a.m. Sunday, April 28. She was jailed pending court. Other charges are pending.

• Ronald D. Schafer, 62, Monroe, was cited for failure to maintain control after deputies responded to a tanker truck crash on Marty Road about a third of a mile north of Marty Lane in New Glarus Township at 9:20 a.m. Friday, April 26. Schafer was northbound, driving a ByTec tanker truck, when he lost control on a curve. The truck went off the east side of the road, then Schafer overcorrected and the truck overturned onto its side, hitting a small tree. Schafer sustained minor injuries and was later taken by private vehicle to an area hospital. The truck was extensively damaged and towed. There was no spillage of the truck's contents.

• Magnolia Mae Grenawalt, 20, Madison, was cited for inattentive driving, failure to yield and driving without vehicle insurance after deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash on Wis. 104 at West Footville-Brodhead Road in Decatur Township at 2:05 p.m. Friday, April 26. She failed to yield at the intersection's stop sign and collided with the driver's side of a semi driven by James J. Srnka, 61, Hilbert. Neither driver was injured. Grenawalt's vehicle was moderately damaged. The semi truck was not damaged but the tank trailer sustained moderate damage to the driver's side tires. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Dusty R.A. Weber, 22, Gratiot, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, speeding, keeping open intoxicants in a vehicle and allowing passengers to carry open intoxicants, after a traffic stop on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township at 2:03 a.m. Saturday, April 27. Four passengers were cited for open intoxicants or underage drinking: Dylan D. Gile, 21, Gratiot; Richard A. Kent, 21, Warren; Natasha L. Weber, 19, Gratiot, and a 15-year-old girl from Freeport. All five were later released to responsible parties.

• Nicholas I. Christopherson, 19, South Beloit, was cited for speeding on Wisconsin 81 in Darlington Township at 4:19 p.m. Friday, April 26.

• Heather J. Millard, 25, Benton, was cited for speeding and two counts of not securing a child in a seatbelt at 5:23 p.m. Friday, April 26, on County J in Benton.

• A deputy responded to an animal complaint on Calvert Street in Benton at 7:27 p.m. Friday, April 26.

• A deputy responded to a residence on Carr Factory Road in Benton Township at 8:43 a.m. Saturday, April 27, to meet with a 12-year-old boy and parents in reference to the boy being out of control.

• A missing 2-year-old was reported in South Wayne at 3:50 p.m. Saturday, April 27. The South Wayne Fire Department assisted with locating the child, found a short time later uninjured and at a residence.

• A 15-year-old boy was reported missing from a residence on Meier Road in Wayne Township at 2:49 p.m. Sunday, April 28. He was last seen walking southbound on Meier Road and has possibly traveled to relatives in the Chicago area.

• A deputy responded to a civil dispute over personal property at 8:14 p.m. Sunday, April 28, on West Main Street in Benton.
