ALBANY Police

ALBANY - Christopher M. Dean, 43, Albany, was cited for disorderly conduct on Wednesday.

• Allen M. Carstensen, 23, Albany, was cited for driving after suspension on Thursday.

• Ronald Kraus, 69, Albany, was cited for public nuisances affecting health on Friday.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Steven A. Johnson, 45, Monroe, was arrested for bail jumping at 12:55 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of 10th Avenue. Johnson was jailed.



NEW GLARUS Police

NEW GLARUS - On April 20:

• Police investigated a traffic complaint at 2 p.m. that had occurred April 17 in the 1600 block of 2nd Street.

• Police assisted the Green County Sheriff's Department at 9:41 p.m. with locating a vehicle in the village that had been reported on a driving complaint in New Glarus Township.

On April 21:

• Police responded to an active alarm at 8:17 a.m. in New Glarus. The alarm was a false alarm due to human error.

• Jobari I. Adams, 22, Morrow, Ga., was cited for unsafe passing on the right at 11:51 a.m. on Wisconsin 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Michelle R. Zoller, 36, Belleville, was cited for a seatbelt violation and having no vehicle insurance at 6 p.m. on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Police checked on a suspicious vehicle at 10:35 p.m. in the 200 block of 4th Avenue. Everything was found to be okay.

On Wednesday:

• Curtis M. Elmer Jr., 37, Blanchardville, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 12:33 p.m. on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

• Jason R. Kessenich, 35, Monticello, was cited for following too closely in a vehicle at 5:33 p.m. on Wis. 69 at 11th Avenue.

On Thursday:

• Police were dispatched to a business for a report of damage to property and a disorderly subject within the business at 9:15 a.m. The incident is still under investigation and the suspect has been identified.

• Ricky T. Olson, 19, New Glarus, was cited for driving while suspended and driving a vehicle without insurance after stopping him for the driving violation on at 11:35 a.m. 1st Street at 10th Avenue.

On Friday:

• Police received a complaint in reference to a dog that was acting aggressive at a business at 9:17 a.m. The owner of the dog was talked to in regards to the complaint.

• Police received a traffic complaint at 5 p.m. of northbound vehicle on Wis. 69 from the Monticello area passing in no-passing zones. The vehicle was not located.

On Saturday:

• Tanner M. Blumer, 18, Monroe, was cited for a seatbelt violation at 4:53 p.m. after stopping the vehicle on Railroad Street at 6th Avenue.

• Police took a complaint at 12:25 p.m. of possible registration year decal stickers being removed from some vehicles parked in a business parking lot.

• Police were dispatched at 2:52 p.m. to an address on 1st Street to take a report of a check welfare on a subject that had not returned home. The subject was contacted by phone in Madison and was fine.

• Police responded to the New Glarus Nursing Home at 5:55 p.m. for a 911 hang up. An investigation revealed that a resident was trying to dial long distance and hit 911.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• Deputies responded to Wisconsin 11 in Shullsburg to assist the Shullsburg Police Department at 9:08 p.m. Ronald Leifker, 50, Hazel Green, was arrested for driving while under the influence. He was transported to the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office and released to a responsible party.

• Jaclyn Hauser, 49, Dodgeville, was cited for speeding and having no proof of insurance at 10:25 a.m. on U.S. 151 in Kendall Township.

• Michael Viers, 24, Milwaukee, was cited for speeding at 11:05 a.m. on U.S. 151 in Township of Belmont.

• A deputy responded at 5:24 p.m. to Heller Court in Shullsburg for a theft complaint.

On Saturday:

• Tyler Williams, 18, Argyle, was cited for speeding at 10:28 a.m. on County G, Argyle Township.

• Ann Hoffman, 34, Ottawa, Ill., was cited for speeding at 5:25 p.m. on Wis. 23, New Diggings Township.

• Sang Soo Kang, 56, San Jose, Calif., was cited for speeding at 7:25 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Wayne Township.

• Jacob Barr, 21, Dakota, Ill., was cited for speeding 7:45 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot Township.

• William Pucci, 48, Racine, was cited for speeding at 7:57 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Gratiot Township.

• A deputy responded at 7:40 p.m. to W. Main Street in Shullsburg for a noise complaint.

• A deputy responded at 2:47 p.m. to Peace Street in Shullsburg for an alarm.

• A deputy responded at 3 p.m. to Wis. 78 in Argyle Township for suspicious activity.

• A deputy responded at 6:15 p.m. to Miner Way in Shullsburg Township for animals running at large.

• A deputy responded at 10 p.m. to Hawley Road in Wiota Township for a traffic complaint.

On Sunday:

• Justin Nelson, 26, Blanchardville, was cited for having no valid driver's license at 1:32 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg Township.

• Ferman Murillo-Garcia, 26, Darlington, was cited for having no valid driver's license at 10:30 p.m. following a traffic complaint at 10:30 p.m. on Wis. 81 in the Argyle Township.

• A deputy responded to a noise complaint at 4:41 p.m. on County Q in New Diggings Township.
