Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - For the week of April 1 to April 7, the Brodhead Police Department reported 20 calls for service, 15 follow-up incidents, 16 vehicle registrations, 35 citizen assists, 17 security checks, four assists with other agencies, nine traffic stops, 12 911 calls, and seven EMS calls.

On April 1:

• A 19-year-old Juda woman was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, motor vehicle liability insurance required, vehicle operator failure to wear seat belt and inattentive driving at 7:39 a.m. in the 400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On April 2:

• A juvenile in possession of marijuana was reported at 8:16 a.m. in the 2100 block of West 9th Avenue. A juvenile male was referred to juvenile intake for the offense.

• A citation was issued for possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:04 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

• A 19-year-old Brodhead woman was cited for failure to stop for school bus at 1:54 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

• A dog at large was reported at 2:03 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue. The owner was contacted and a warning was issued.

• A traffic crash was reported at 5:18 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Due to the incident being on private property and being a non-reportable accident, no citations were issued.

• A gas drive off was reported at 6:48 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. It was determined this incident was an oversight and no charges were filed.

On April 4:

• Theft was reported at 7:29 a.m. in the E400 block of 23rd Street. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. This matter remains under investigation.

• Theft was reported at 2:07 p.m. in the 1200 block of East 2nd Avenue. Video games of an undisclosed value were taken. This matter remains under investigation.

• A 27-year-old Janesville man was cited for speeding at 3:02 p.m. in the 1200 block of 14th Street.

• A 24-year-old Janesville man was cited for speeding at 4:40 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

• A dog at large was reported at 4:59 p.m. in the 400 block of East 5th Avenue. The owner was contacted and a warning was issued.

• A 35-year-old Freeport man was cited for speeding at 6:26 p.m. in the 700 block of 23rd Street.

• A 20-year-old Brodhead woman was cited for speeding at 7 p.m. in the N400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• A 35-year-old Fitchburg woman was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 9:12 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue.

On April 5:

• A 27-year-old Edgerton woman was cited for speeding at 2;44 a.m in the 800 block of 10th Street.

• A 22-year-old Brandon man was cited for display unauthorized registration plate at 3:26 p.m. in the 2100 block of West 6th Avenue.

• A 22-year-old Brodhead man was cited for operating after suspension at 5:56 p.m. in the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue.

• Harassment was reported at 7:17 p.m. in the 300 block of East 8th Avenue. A subject was received unwanted calls and messages. Contact was made and the subject was instructed to have no more contact with the complainant.

• Counterfeit money presented at a business was reported at 8:20 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. The person with the money left prior to police arrival. This matter remains under investigation.

On April 6:

• Fraud was reported at 7:33 p.m. in the 1100 block of 21st Street. A subject received multiple scam calls. This was informational only.

On April 7:

• Disorderly conduct was reported at 12:43 a.m. in the 2000 block of West 6th Avenue. A subject was reportedly assaulted by three subjects but didn't wish to pursue charges.

• A 40-year-old Janesville man was cited for operating after suspension at 7:35 p.m. in the 400 block of East 9th Avenue.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Brandon M. Triem, 30, Monroe, was arrested at 10:43 p.m. April 6 in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue following an investigation into a domestic related dispute. Triem was charged with disorderly conduct under Wisconsin's domestic violence laws and resisting arrest. Triem was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

• Marcella N. Ingram, 40, Orangeville, Illinois, was arrested on an active warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department for failure to pay a fine on a prior case at 12:03 p.m. April 7 in the 1800 block of 12th Street. Ingram was able to post the required bond and was released pending a court appearance.

• A man's wedding ring was found and turned in April 9 to the Monroe Police Department where it may be claimed by the owner.
