Philip K. Jordan, age 51, of Juda, died Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his home following an eleven month battle with Large B-cell lymphoma cancer. Philip was born on February 7, 1966 in Monroe, the son of Emerson and Mary Lee (Brunner) Jordan. He graduated from Juda High school in 1984 and received an Associate degree from UW-Rock County in 1989. Phil graduated from U.W. Platteville in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and worked for several employers while becoming a Wisconsin Licensed Professional Engineer. Phil earned his Master Plumbing License and worked for Juda Plumbing Service for 13 years. He attended Juda Zion United Methodist Church and studied at Christian Life Church for 10 years. He obtained an FAA Private Pilot certificate in 1989 and enjoyed flying. His other hobbies were reading, music, cars, motorcycles, and snowmobiles. He had a great love for his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his father and mother, Emerson and Mary Jordan of Juda; three brothers, Harlan (Barbara) Jordan, Kurt (Tina) Jordan, all of Juda, and Aaron Jordan of Janesville; nieces and nephews, Chad (Tiffany), Peter, Joe, Jessica, Jenna, Trenton, and Kate; great nephews and great niece, Ashton, Kloe, and Gavin. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Grace Brunner; and paternal grandparents, Leland and Irene Jordan.

Graveside services will be held Friday, October 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Juda, with Reverend Kelly Jahn officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe. A memorial fund will be established in Philip's name. Phil had health problems for the last 44 years and would like to thank Madison Ear, Nose, and Throat, Physicians Plus, Green County Community Support Program, Monroe Clinic and Hospital, and UW-Health.
