New Glarus - Paul Heller, age 82, of New Glarus passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the New Glarus Home. He was born in New Glarus to Fred and Pearl (Hoesly) Heller on September 2, 1934. Paul graduated from New Glarus High School in 1952. He was drafted and served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959 at Fort Leonard Wood. Paul worked many years at Disch Hardware in New Glarus. If you had a furnace repair in the 60's and 70's chances were you called "The Heller Boys" Paul and Jack. Mom and Dad had many years of memories at their place in Castle Rock Lake fishing, eating pizza at Cozy's, visiting friends at local establishments around the lake and hosting family gatherings. Dad like watching the Brewers, Bucks, and Packers. He stayed sharp throughout his later years' still filing his 2016 tax returns. I think his son's made him shake his head at times, but he was proud of the men they turned out to be. He will be missed by all.

Paul is survived by his wife Lois of fifty four years, sons Jon (Beth), Jeff (Leah), and Jim, daughter Amy, grandchildren Brittany (Brenton), Megan (Nolan), Rachel, Zack, Callan, and Jacob and Kendra Haraldson, great-grandchildren Kai and Braxton. He is further survived by a sister Dorothy (Bob) Abendroth and sisters-in-law Carol Heller and Jeanette Heller.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jack and Ronnie.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the New Glarus Hotel, 100 Sixth Avenue, New Glarus, WI.
