Patricia S. Duhai, age 82, of rural Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at her home. She was born on February 20, 1934 in Aurora, IL; the daughter of Frank and Hildegarde (Lies) Hagemann.
Patricia and Henry "Bud" Duhai were married on April 11, 1953 in Lisle IL.
Patricia had a varied professional career, working for Kroehler Furniture and Molex in Naperville, IL. After moving to Monroe she worked for Eckum Abstract & Kittelson Barry & Ross Attorney. Patricia was also the secretary for the Cheese Days Committee during the 1970's. Upon returning to the Somonauk, Naperville area, she returned to Molex, where she retired in 1994. After a short time in Willow Springs Missouri, she returned to Monroe in 2000.
She is survived by her son, Charles (Nancy) Duhai of Woodstock, IL; grandchildren, Chad Duhai (Melissa Todd), of Monroe, Justin (Rachel) Duhai of Elk Grove IL, Lindsey (Nick) Guerra of Crystal Lake, IL, Kelsey (Alex) Hartz of Rockton, IL; 4 great-grandchildren: Owen and Carson Duhai and Trenton and Olivia Guerra, aunt, Jean Hagemann of MN; uncle, Wilbert (Ruth) Hegemann of Big Rock, IL. She is also survived by 4 sisters-in-law, Kate Pantke, Tucson Arizona, Anna Calaway of Grand Marsh, WI, Laura Calaway of Peoria, IL, Josephine (Paul) Strong of Yorkville, IL; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and infant daughter, Mary Ann Duhai.
Visitation will be Monday, September 5th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME 1455 Mansion Dr., and 18th AVE in Monroe with a short service at 4:00 p.m.
