Mary P. Kaderly, age 83 of Juda, died Friday, August 9, 2013 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe. Mary was born March 8, 1930 in South Beloit, IL, the daughter of Thomas and Gladys (Snow) Flanagan. She graduated from South Beloit High School and married John L. Kaderly on April 7, 1951. Mary and John farmed in Spring Grove Township all their married life. She worked as the clerk for Spring Grove Township from 1975 until 1999. She was a member of the Farm Bureau and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, making quilts, flowers, and tending to her calves.
She is survived by four children, Gary Kaderly and Tim Kaderly, both of Juda, John "Jack" Kaderly of Brodhead, and Bridget Kaderly of Monroe; two grandsons, Bradley and Gregory (Brooke) Kaderly; a great grandson, Parker Kaderly; a sister, Pat (Douglas) Malhum of Beloit; and two brothers, Charles (Barb) Flanagan of Corpus Christi, TX and Kenneth (Kay) Flanagan of Rockton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John, on August 24, 1997; a granddaughter, Tabitha Kaderly; a grandson, Damian Lehnherr; and a brother, Thomas Flanagan.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. Cal Schaver officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Juda, followed by a luncheon at the Monroe Moose Lodge. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
