Mary A. Wagner, age 86 of Monroe, WI and formerly of Beloit, died Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Monroe of Alzheimer's. She was born August 22, 1929, to the late Anthony and Gladys (Steininger) Wagner in Aurora, IL. Mary was a graduate of Brodhead High School and attended Rockford Business College. She was employed at Fairbanks Morse Co. in Beloit from 1952 until her retirement in 1992. Mary loved spending time with family, reading, dancing, knitting and was a member of a genealogy group.
She is survived by her three sisters, Betty Hartwig, of Monroe, Dorothy Ellsworth of Tucson, AZ, and Arlene Mounts of Mondovi; her brother, Donald (Beverly) Wagner of Beloit; her nieces and nephews, Gary (Jan) Hartwig, Patti (Doug) Schindler, Janet (Scott) Weber, Janice Ellsworth, Lana (Mark) Steckel, Paula Mounts, Bruce (Laura) Mounts, Timothy and Steven Mounts, Shelli (Dan) Roberts and Derek Wagner; several great nieces and nephews and dear friends, Ruth, Wanda & Bill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers in law, a niece and a nephew.
