Brodhead - Marvella D. Stefanik, age 95, of Brodhead, WI, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015, at Woods Crossing Nursing Home, Brodhead, WI. She was born on October 19, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Charles and Lydia (Schendel) Radtke. She married Paul D. Stefanik on May 3, 1941 in West Allis, WI. He passed away on June 19, 2013.
Marvella was a homemaker, enjoying baking, sewing and flower gardening. She was very active at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brodhead, taught Sunday school and was also in the choir.
She is survived by her children, Judy (Gary) Studer, Monroe, WI, Peggy (Lorin) Jordan, Juda, WI, Larry (Kathy) Stefanik and Neil (Jackie) Stefanik, both of Albany, WI; a brother, Ronald (Joan) Radtke, Brookfield, WI; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Kenneth Radtke.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2016, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Brodhead, WI, with Pastor Mark Neumann officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead, WI. Visitation will be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. A memorial fund will be established. The D.L.
