Marilyn Rose Gerber, 75, of Freeport, died Monday, July 27, 2015 at U.W. Hospital, Madison, WI. She was born March 1, 1940, in Winslow, Illinois, the daughter of George and Marian (Zimmerman) Gerber.
She was employed by Eagles Grocery Store for 30 years and a member of UFCW #1540.
Her memberships included: Eagles Aux, and Moose Aux. She was a Green Bay Packer and Chicago White Sox fan.
Survivors include one son, Craig Gerber; three daughters, Rose (Willie) Veasley of Freeport, Christine (Greg) Watson of Davis Junction and Michelle (Brian) Barklow of Vinton, VA.; three brothers, Don Gerber of Monroe, WI., David (Kathy) Gerber of Davenport, IA and Bill Dawn Gerber of Monroe, WI; also 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Friday 10:30 a.m. at Burke-Tubbs.
