Marie E. Thoman, age 77 of Monroe, Wisconsin died Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born April 11, 1936 in Freeport, Illinois the daughter of Stanley and Frances (Jensen) Hull and graduated from Orangeville High School in 1954.
Marie married Donald "Skip" Thoman on February 10, 1957 in Orangeville, IL and they farmed in Clarno Township on the Wisconsin & Illinois border. Marie was a member of First Baptist Church in Monroe.
Surviving are her children, Dominick (Kelly) Thoman of Oxford, WI, Richard (Jane) Thoman of Monroe, WI, David (Lora) Thoman of Red Lion, PA, Christina (Steve) Owen of Orangeville, IL, & Kevin (Debbie) Thoman of Flushing, MI; 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Dwight (Mavis) Hull of Shullsburg, WI; and sister-in-law, Grace (Gary) Hoffman of Monroe, WI. She was predeceased by her parents; husband; and brother, Lewis Hull.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Monroe Bible Church 2613-8th Avenue in Monroe, WI with Pastor Matthew Spoonhour officiating. Private burial will be at Grandview Cemetery in Freeport, IL.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue in Monroe and from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday at the Monroe Bible Church.
