Marie E. Siegenthaler, age 87 formerly of Argyle, WI passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at St. Claire Freidensheim. She was born in the Browntown area on January 28, 1926, the daughter of Peter and Marie Graber.

On December 27, 1947 she married Erick Siegenthaler at St. Johns United Church of Christ in Monroe, WI. She assisted Erick making cheese at Cannon Cheese Factory near Waldwick and Gunderson Factory near Yellowstone Lake. After Gunderson Factory closed she worked as a waitress at the Waffle Shop in Monroe, retiring in 1977. Marie enjoyed gardening, walking, going for car rides in the country and spending time with her family.

Marie is survived by her daughter: Linda Siegenthaler of Modesto, CA, son: Donald (Marsha) Siegenthaler and grandchildren: Kristina and Brent Siegenthaler all of Madison, WI. She is also survived by one brother: Peter (Shirley) Graber, Monticello, WI, sister: Lillian (Ted) Falk, Monroe, and sister-in-law: Darlyne Graber, Monroe. She was preceded in death by her husband Erick on April 17, 1995, her parents, brother: Otto Graber, and brother and sister-in-law: Permin and Verena Graber.

Private family funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle (801 East Milwaukee St.), with Rev. Tiff Bates of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Monroe, WI officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, rural Argyle. A public visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of services at the Erickson Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.ericksonfuneralhome.com.
