BRODHEAD - Margaret E. Rabe, age 90, of Brodhead, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Monroe Clinic Hospital, Monroe, WI. She was born on December 10, 1924 in Oneco Township, IL, the daughter of August and Della (Rabe) Mann. She married Harland D. Rabe on May 18, 1951 at Martintown Church, Martintown, WI. He passed away on February 25, 1998.
Margaret graduated from Orangeville High School in 1943 and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Brodhead, Spring Valley Faithful Farmerettes, and the Brodhead Daytime Garden Club.
She is survived by a daughter, Diane Rabe and a son, David (Helen) Rabe, both of Brodhead; two grandsons, Craig and Jason Rabe; and a great-granddaughter, Madelyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Florence Zumkehr and Ethel Kuhl, and a brother, Alvin Mann.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at the United Methodist Church, Brodhead, with Pastor Krystal Goodger officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m., Saturday, until time of services at the church. A memorial fund will be established. The D.L.
