MONROE - A Monroe man with three convictions of driving while intoxicated was arrested again on the same charge Sunday morning, May 12, according to the Monroe Police Department.

Jerry L. Humphrey, 53, was jailed on a Class H felony DWI charge in Green County Circuit Court following an arrest at about 11 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69.

Court records show it's his fourth offense within five years of his third, which was in August 2008, also in Green County.

He's also charged with several other offenses stemming from the same arrest Sunday morning. These include a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct and citations for unsafe lane deviation, refusing to take a test for intoxication, driving without proof of vehicle insurance and carrying open intoxicants in the vehicle.

His signature bond is set at $4,000 on the felony DWI charge and at $500 on the misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge. Conditions of his bond stipulate he must not drink or go into bars or liquor stores.

Humphrey is set to next appear in court June 6.
