NEW GLARUS - A Belleville man with four convictions of driving while intoxicated was arrested again on the same charge Friday, June 23, following a rollover accident in the Town of New Glarus.
Fred T. Agee, 62, faces a felony charge of driving while intoxicated and was cited for driving with open intoxicants in the vehicle and failure to maintain control, according to the Green County Sheriff's Department.
Agee was reportedly driving north in the W5200 block of County W at 6:03 p.m. when he lost control of his truck and the vehicle rolled over several times before coming to a rest on its roof in the middle of the road.
He was able to crawl out of the truck before law enforcement arrived and was transported with non-life threatening injuries by Monroe EMS to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
The truck was severely damaged and towed.
The New Glarus Police, Fire and EMS Departments also assisted at the scene.
Wisconsin court records indicate Agee has been convicted of DWI four times since 1997.
