Lynn Siefkes, 72, of Janesville, WI passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Agrace Hospice Care, Janesville, WI. Son of Fred and Elizabeth (Huebbe) Siefkes, he was born September 5, 1943 in Beloit, WI.
Lynn lived most of his life in Beloit where he received his education at various schools in the Beloit area. As a youth, Lynn was a member of the Beloit 4-H club. After his school days he worked at Kandu Industries in Janesville, WI. He was an avid fan of the UW Badgers and the Green Bay Packers football teams and also loved to attend and watch the Milwaukee Brewers and the Beloit Snappers baseball games. Along with the sports, he also loved watching vintage black and white movies and westerns. He was a great fan of country & western music. In addition, he frequently participated in the Special Olympics in Rock County and enjoyed many years of bowling at Bowl-Aire Lanes. He was a member of The River of Life United Methodist Church where his services will take place.
Lynn is survived by his sister Jan (Jerry) Ladwig; nieces Jennifer (Travis) Grell and Heidi (Brian) Wisniewski; grandnieces Giada Grell, Mallory Wisniewski; grandnephew Zachary Wisniewski and his special friend Patti.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at The River of Life United Methodist Church in Beloit, WI. The visitation will be at 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Pastor David Carlson will be officiating. A private interment will be at East Lawn Cemetery, Beloit, WI.
