Louis W. Contreras, age 80, died on Friday, November 6, 2015, at the LaFayette Manor in Darlington. He was born on April 12, 1935, the son of Constancio and Theresa (Nento) Contreras. Louis and Lorraine Donnell were married in the Chicago area. He enjoyed bowling, bingo and having a fine meal. Louis always played Santa for the family during the Christmas season.

He moved to the Darlington area to be close to his, nieces and nephews who survive him. He is predeceased by his parents; wife, Lorraine; sons; Jeffery and Jonathan, brothers, George and Charles; and his sister, Mary Runge.

A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015, from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, with a service at 5:00 conducted by Fr. Michael E.
