LouAnn "Annie" Segner, age 85 of Monroe, died Thursday, December 24, 2015 at her home following a six month illness. Annie was born February 2, 1930 in Monroe, the daughter of Thomas and Kathryn (Maurer) Brennan. She attended St. Victor Catholic School, graduated from Monroe High School, and attended the Rose Barnhardt Business College in Madison. Annie and Kenneth C. Segner were married on June 3, 1950 at the East Wiota Lutheran Church. The couple farmed in Monroe Township for many years. Annie's artistic talent was expressed through her love of china painting and she made many longtime friends throughout the area by teaching and sharing these skills.

She is survived by four children, Craig Segner, Scott Segner, both of Monroe, Jane Titel of Westby, WI, and Kelly (Tony) Butler of New Glarus; fourteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Joyce) Brennan of Monroe; a sister, Helen Ruchti of Janesville; and a brother-in-law, Ed Krusey of Rockford, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth on May 28, 1998; a grandson, C.J. Segner; a brother, Thomas Brennan; a sister, Bridget Krusey; and a brother-in-law, Al Ruchti.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, with Father Larry Bakke officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe, followed by a luncheon at the Monroe Moose Lodge. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
