Lorna L (Edwards) Giannatti passed away unexpectedly Dec 23rd at home. She was born Dec. 16, 1957 in Rockford IL, the daughter of David and Margie (Mahlkuch) Edwards. Lorna graduated from Darlington High School 1975. She immediately started work at Combined Insurance in Freeport, then moved to Phoenix AZ where she continued to work and grow in that industry eventually becoming a Broker.
She retired from the industry to relax and smell the roses in 2012. She loved to travel with friends to Hawaii and Mexico. She loved to garden, bake and cook, go to garage sales and flea markets, fish and hunt and spend time communing with nature. She also loved to redecorate when the urge struck. She also loved spending time with her family and the select friends she made over the years.
She is survived by her mother: Margie Edwards of Santa Fe NM, two sons: Frankie and Garrett of South Wayne, two sisters: Brenda (Charles) Larse of South Wayne WI, and Julia Albright of Santa Fe NM, and one brother Mark (Renee) Edwards also of Santa Fe NM.
She was preceded in death by her father: David Edwards, paternal grandparents: Paul and Lennice (Farr) Edwards, and maternal grandparents Bill and Martha (Susie Senn) Mahlkuch.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" June 18th in South Wayne WI.
