Lafayette County Sheriff
On June 15:
● 10:13 p.m. Julie E Mathys, 57, Blanchardville reported striking a deer on CTH N, Argyle Township. Mathys 2016 Ford received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
On June 16:
● 5:09 a.m. Justin R Holmes, 28, Argyle reported striking a deer on CTH G, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported and Holmes’s 2017 Ford was driven from the scene with moderate damage.
● 11:20 a.m. William M Weinbrenner, 77, Mineral Point reported striking a deer on STH 81, Darlington Township. No injuries were reported and Weinbrenner’s 2016 Ford was driven from the scene.
● 5:45 p.m. Cody A Nielsen, 22, Belmont reported striking a deer on Riverside RD, Wiota Township. No injuries were reported and Nielsen’s 2014 Chevrolet was driven from the scene with minor damage.
On June 17:
● 1:30 p.m. Platteville Fire, Southwest Health EMS, and a deputy responded to CTH XX, Belmont Township for a two vehicle accident. Daniel Conde-Zavaleta, 40, Darlington was booked and released for Operating After Revocation.
● 9:25 p.m. Renee L Busch, 39, Scales Mound reported striking a deer on CTH O, White Oak Springs Township. No injuries were reported. Busch’s 2015 Nissan received major damage and was towed from the scene.
On June 19:
● 8:08 p.m. Carlos N. Quiroz-Montoya, 18, Darlington was arrested on N Park ST, Village of Belmont on a valid Lafayette County warrant. Quiroz-Montoya was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released after posting bond. Quiroz-Montoya was also cited for Operating without a Valid License (1st).
On June 20:
● 12:25 p.m. Blanchard-ville Fire and Blanchardville EMS responded to Oak ST in the Village for a fire. Blanchardville Police assisted on scene.
● 10:27 p.m. Katherine A. Johnson, 59, Gratiot reported striking a deer on STH 78, Wiota Township. Johnson’s 2017 Chevrolet received moderate damage and was driven from the scene
On June 21:
● 12:27 a.m. Rosalba Carrizalez, 39, Darlington reported striking a coyote on CTH XX, Belmont Township. No injuries were reported, and Carrizalez’s 2012 Dodge received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
● 11:26 p.m. Argyle Fire and EMS responded to S Lake RD, Fayette Township for a one vehicle rollover. Brandon J Schiferl, 22, Platteville was traveling westbound on S Lake RD in his 2018 Volkswagen when he left the roadway, entered the ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its roof. Schiferl denied EMS and his vehicle was towed from the scene with disabling damage. Schiferl was cited for Failure to Keep Vehicle under Control.
On June 22:
● 4:53 a.m. Douglas J McArthur, 63, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 81, Lamont Township. No injuries were reported and McArthur’s 2011 Chrysler received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
● 12:32 p.m. Layla CA Fitzsimons, 18, Darlington was traveling northbound on CTH F, Willow Springs Township in a 2007 Pontiac when she swerved to miss an animal and went into the ditch. No injuries were reported and her vehicle was removed from the scene with moderate damage.
● 4:16 p.m. A deputy responded to E Milwaukee ST in the Village of Argyle for a hit and run.
On June 23:
● 2:13 p.m. Benton Fire and First Response responded to CTH W, New Diggings Township for a brush fire. Benton Police assisted on scene.
● 6:22 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 78, Argyle Township for a two vehicle accident.
● 6:34 p.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Lamont Township for a one vehicle accident.
On June 24:
● 11:32 a.m. Alisa A. Schepp, 40, Stoughton reported striking an owl on USH 151, Belmont Township. Schepp’s 2014 Chevrolet received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
● 5:17 p.m. Gerard A. McKibben, 33, South Wayne was arrested for valid Lafayette County warrants on S McKnight ST, Village of South Wayne. McKibben was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains.
● 10:28 p.m. Deputies responded to Valley RD, Argyle Township for a 911 misdial. As a result, Trever A. Rice, 34, Blanchardville was cited for OWI.
Green County Sheriff
On June 15:
● At approximately 9:35 p.m., Deputies responded to the N300 block of 1st Center Ave., City of Brodhead, for a report of a disturbance between a male and a female. Investigation resulted the offender, Chad M. Eddy, 40 of Brodhead, being placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct falling under the Wisconsin Domestic Abuse laws. Chad was transported to the Green County Jail where he was booked and released on these charges.
● At approximately 12:18 a.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle N7100 blk of STH 69, Town of Washington, for speed. The driver, Dustin L. Mosley, 21 of Freeport, was given a verbal warning for his speed. Further investigation resulted in a passenger, Kameron J. Stebbins, 20 of Freeport, being cited for Possess of THC — Less than 25 Grams. Kameron was released with a future court date.
Monticello Police
On June 20:
● At approximately 6:58 a.m., Officers responded to the intersection of State Hwy 69 and County Hwy F for a reported 2 car, motor vehicle crash with injuries. During the investigation if was found the crash was a “rear end” type collision. Seatbelts were worn by both drivers and minor injuries were reported.
Monroe Police
On June 21:
● An investigation into a traffic offense stop in the 1400 block of 12th St led to the arrest of Alicia Laws, 42, of Monroe for Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, Alicia was cited for Operating While Revoked Due to Alcohol Content and for the Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. Alida was later released pending a mandatory court appearance.
On June 24:
● At approximately 1:54 a.m., Officers responded to an unwanted subject at a business in the 1400 block of 17th Street, who was attempting to start physical altercations. Investigation resulted in Peter V. Cramer, 37, Monroe, being arrested for Disorderly Conduct, Bail Jumping (Misdemeanor)/Possession of THC (Felony), and Threats to a Law Enforcement Officer (Felony). Peter was held at the Green County Jail, without bond, pending an initial court appearance.
● At approximately 2:12 a.m., while Officers were conducting an investigation in the 1400 block of 17th Street, Officers were made aware of a subject in violation of bond conditions through the Green County Circuit Court. Further investigation resulted in Donald 6. Bornemeier, 43, Monroe, being arrested for Bail Jumping (Misdemeanor) for violating conditions of his bond. Donald was taken to the Green County Jail, where he was held pending cash bond or court.
