Green County Sheriff

On December 28:

● At approximately 7:52 a.m., Deputies along with Brodhead PD Officers responded to the W1600 block of County F, Town of Decatur, for a single vehicle accident. Investigations found that a vehicle operated by Michael J Keller, 43, of Brodhead was eastbound on County Highway F when he lost traction negotiating a curve in the roadway. Keller reported losing traction due to the snow-covered roadway. Keller’s vehicle entered the ditch and struck a pole. All occupants reported wearing their seatbelts, and there was airbag deployment. Keller’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● At approximately 8:18 a.m., Deputies along with Monroe Rural Fire Department and Green County EMS responded to the W5800 block of County P, Town of Clarno, for a single vehicle accident with injuries reported. Investigations found that Lasondriana Schulte, 34, of Browntown was negotiating a curve in the roadway when she lost control due to the snow/ice covered roadway. Schulte’s vehicle entered the North ditch where it struck a retaining wall. Schulte and her two juvenile passengers reported wearing their seatbelts/child safety restraints and there was no airbag deployment within the vehicle. Schulte’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.


Monroe Police

On December 28:

● 7:34 AM, officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of 23rd Avenue and 13th Street. The investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Landin A. Heiler (20), Lena, was northbound on 23rd Avenue, failed to stop for a stop sign at 13th Street, and collided with a vehicle operated by Matthew P. Boruszewski (30), Roscoe, IL, which was eastbound on 13th Street. Both vehicles sustained non-functional damages and were towed. Boruszewski reported minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene by Green County EMS and declined transport. Heiler was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and released pending a court appearance. 

● 5:27 PM, officers were called to a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of 12th Street. The investigation led to the arrest of Jeffrey T. Harrison (55), Monroe, on charges of battery, false imprisonment and disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence laws. Harrison was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On December 29:

● 9:05 AM, officers arrested Robert W. Allen (41), Monroe, on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole for a probation violation. Allen was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings. 

● 9:40 AM, officers arrested Lucas A. Noble (26), Monroe, on an apprehension request from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections-Probation & Parole, for a probation violation. Noble was confined in the Green County Jail pending further proceedings.


Lafayette County Sheriff

On December 28:

● 7:46 a.m. Green County EMS and Gratiot Fire Department responded to STH 78, Gratiot Township for a one vehicle accident. Keith Calderon, 46, Polo was traveling on STH 78 when he struck a pole. Calderon reported minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. Calderon’s 2009 Dodge received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. A deputy assisted on scene. 

● 8:34 a.m. A deputy responded to STH 81, Argyle Township for a one vehicle accident. Tanner M Vaade, 20, Argyle was traveling on STH 81 when he lost control of his vehicle and went into the ditch. No injuries were reported. Vaade’s 2009 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 10:38 a.m. Belmont EMS and Belmont Fire Department responded to STH 126, Elk Grove Township for a one vehicle accident. Anthony Y Pieda, 18, Platteville was traveling on STH 126 where he struck a pole. Minor injuries were reported. Pieda’s Nissan received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. A deputy and Belmont Police assisted on scene.
