● 8:33 a.m. A deputy responded to Ballard Rd, Willow Springs Township for livestock on the roadway.
● 9:44 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH G, Belmont Township for suspicious activity.
● 10:04 a.m. Lafayette County EMS responded to Center Hill Rd, City of Darlington for a medical emergency.
● 10:21 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH P, Monticello Township for a disabled vehicle.
● 10:59 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH G, Argyle Township for an animal problem.
● 5:01 p.m. A deputy responded to Neeseman Rd, Town of Gratiot for a suspicious activity complaint.
● 5:47 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH P, Shullsburg Township for vehicles in the ditch, due to slippery road conditions. Shullsburg Fire Department assisted on scene.
● 8:31 p.m. Belmont EMS responded to W Commerce St, Village of Belmont for a medical emergency.
● 8:32 p.m. Deputies responded to CTH X, Town of Elk Grove for a check welfare.
● 8:57 p.m. A deputy responded to Whaley Ct, Village of Benton for a suspicious activity complaint.
● 10:07 p.m. A deputy responded to S Park St, Village of Belmont for a check welfare.
● 11:15 p.m. A deputy responded to S Main St, Village of Argyle to assist with a vehicle unlock.
On Nov. 19:
● 4:45 a.m. A deputy responded to Dunbarton RD, Shullsburg Township for a vehicle in the ditch.
● 10:00 a.m. A deputy responded to Front ST, New Diggings Township for a check welfare.
Monroe Police
On Nov. 2:
● At approximately 3:21 p.m. Officers responded to the 1300 block of 17th Street for a reported incident. Investigation resulted in Courtney J. Jackson, 25, Monroe, being arrested for violating conditions of release through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole. Courtney was incarcerated at the Green County Jail/ and held without bond.
On Nov 7:
● At approximately 8:44 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of 14th Avenue and 7th Street for a two vehicle traffic crash with no reported injuries. Investigation revealed Yorling L. Herrera Rizo, 26, Monroe, was traveling southbound on 14th Avenue when she attempted a passing maneuver on the curve of 14th Avenue and 7th Street. Yorling reportedly lost power to the vehicle and collided with the vehicle she was attempting to pass. The second vehicle was operated by Dan A. Scheberl, 47, Madison. Both subject reported no injuries. Dan’s vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene. Yorling’s vehicle sustained moderate damage and was parked at the crash location. Yorling was cited for Operating without a Valid Driver’s License, Operating without Insurance, and Passing on a Curve. Yorling was released pending court.
On Nov. 13:
● 2:42 a.m., officers arrested Brady S. Scheider (29), Scioto Mills, IL, following a traffic offense stop in the 700 block of 2lst Street. Scheider was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-lst offense, and was also cited for failure to yield right of way to passing vehicle. Scheider was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
On Nov. 14:
● 11:48 AM, officers were called to a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries at l6th Street and l4th Avenue. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Kristi A. Hudson (70), Monroe, was stopped eastbound on l6th Street at l4th Avenue, entered the intersection, and collided with a northbound vehicle on l4th Avenue operated by a 38-year-old Monroe woman. Both vehicles sustained moderate damages and were towed. Hudson was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and was released pending a court appearance.
