Monroe Police
On August 8:
● At approximately 11:40 p.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of 18th Avenue, a reported disturbance. Investigation resulted in Amber R. Gassman, 37, Monroe, being arrested for Disorderly Conduct, under Wisconsin Domestic Abuse Law and Reckless Endangering Safety. Amber was taken to the Green County Jail and held pending an initial court appearance.
On August 14:
● At 3:19 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 1700 block of 25th Street for a call for service. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Laura J. White, 61, on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-1st offense. White was released to a responsible person pending a court appearance.
Lafayette County Sheriff
On July 21:
● 4:00 a.m. Shullsburg Fire responded to Saint Peters RD, Seymour Township for a truck fire.
● 8:17 a.m. Tamara K. Halvorson, 55, Darlington reported striking a deer on CTH E, Darlington Township. Halvorson’s 2020 Dodge received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
On July 22:
● 1:13 p.m. Gratiot Fire responded to Riverside LN, Gratiot Township for a combine fire.
● 8:45 p.m. Jacob A. Faull, 27, Platteville was travelling northbound on Bethel Grove RD, Kendall Township in a UTV when he swerved to miss a deer. Faull left the roadway, entered the ditch, causing the UTV to roll. Two passengers reported non-life threatening injuries and were transported to the hospital. Faull’s 2022 Can-Am received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
● 9:58 p.m. Debra K. Riley-Ochsner, 50, Monroe reported striking a deer on STH 81, Argyle Township. Riley-Ochsner’s 2013 Chrysler received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
On July 23:
● 12:49 p.m. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to English Hollow RD, Fayette Township for a UTV rollover. Deputies and UW Med Flight assisted on scene.
On July 25:
● 12:51 a.m. Edward J Kloser, 64, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 81, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported. Kloser’s 2002 Toyota received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
