Green County Sheriff

On July 22:

● At approximately 8:40 a.m., Deputies responded to a one vehicle crash in the N9300 block of STH 69, Town of New Glarus. Heylin Karolina Rodriguez Gonzalez, 29, Monticello, was northbound when she lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway and struck the east ditch. Heylin, and her juvenile passenger reported being properly restrained, and uninjured. There was no airbag deployment. The vehicle sustained disabling front end, and undercarriage damage, and was towed from the scene. Heylin was cited for Operating Without a Valid Driver License and No Proof of Insurance.


Lafayette County Sheriff

On July 19:

● 12:53 p.m. Kourtnei J. Palmer-Howen, 42, Darlington was arrested on valid warrants through Darlington Police Department. Palmer-Howen was transported to Lafayette County Jail where she was booked and remains.

● 2:43 p.m. John P. Ford, 43, Mineral Point reported striking a deer on O’Neil RD, Willow Springs Township. Ford’s 2014 Chevrolet received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On July 20: 

● 2:38 p.m. Lacie L. Smith, 24, Mineral Point reported striking a coyote on STH 23, Willow Springs Township. Smith’s 2015 Chrysler received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

● 10:34 p.m. Shane B. French, 54, Windsor was arrested on CTH Y, Wiota Township on a valid Lafayette County Warrant. French was transported to Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and remains.
