Monroe Police

On April 9:

● 2:29 p.m., officers arrested Chelsey A. Voigt, 29, Monroe, following a report of a person violating bail conditions in the 1900 block of 11th Avenue. Voigt was charged with felony bail jumping for violating bail conditions on a prior case. Voigt was also charged with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. Voigt was confined in the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

On April 10:

● 9:13 a.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident, with no reported injuries, at the intersection of l3th Avenue and l2th Street. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Cheryl M. Gassman, 52, Monroe, was eastbound on l2th Street, stopped at the stop sign at 13th Avenue, entered the intersection, and collided with a northbound vehicle on l3th Avenue, operated by a 39-year-old Monroe man. Both vehicles sustained disabling damages and were towed. Gassman was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign, and was released pending a court appearance.
