● 5:48 PM Shullsburg Fire and EMS responded to CTH O, Shullsburg Township for a one vehicle rollover. Lester O Madrid Bautista, 19, Darlington was traveling northbound in a 2008 Honda when he lost control, entered the ditch and overturned. Madrid Bautista denied EMS and the vehicle was towed from the scene with disabling damage.
● 7:20 PM A deputy responded to Mine RD, Elk Grove Township for a vehicle unlock.
● 9:25 PM Nicole A Frechette, 38, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 81, Lamont Township. No injuries were reported and Frechette’s 2016 Chevrolet received severe damage and was driven from the scene.
● 9:59 PM Belmont EMS responded to CTH G, Belmont Township for a medical emergency.
On March 31:
● 5:55 AM Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to CTH G, Willow Springs Township for a one vehicle accident. Kyla G Steffes, 22, Mineral Point was traveling eastbound in her 2005 Pontiac when she failed to negotiate a curve and lost control. Steffes crossed the center line, entered the ditch, and struck a power pole. Steffes reported minor injuries, but denied transport. Steffes’s vehicle was towed form the scene with disabling damage.
● 6:58 AM Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to STH 81, Darlington Township for a two vehicle accident. Sheldon M Zander, 62, Darlington was traveling westbound in his 2011 Chevrolet while Cody T Lindholm, 20, Belmont was also traveling eastbound in his 2017 Ram. Excessive speed for weather conditions caused the Lindholm vehicle to cross the center line striking the Zander vehicle. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were towed from the scene with severe damage. Lindholm was cited for Driving too Fast for Conditions.

Ashlie L Baumgartner, 18, Mineral Point was traveling on CTH G when she lost control of her vehicle causing the vehicle to exit the roadway, enter the ditch striking a fence. Baumgartner’s 2006 Pontiac received minor damage and was towed from the scene. No injuries were reported.

Benjamin R Castner, 31, Blanchardville was traveling on STH 78 when he failed to negotiate a turn causing his vehicle to exit the roadway and enter the ditch. Castner’s 2010 Chevrolet received minor damage and was towed from the scene.

● 6:07 PM Eduin R Elvir-Amaya, 27, Shullsburg was cited for Operating without License on STH 23, Darlington Township.
● 6:39 PM A deputy responded to STH 11, Village of South Wayne for a suspicious vehicle.
● 8:39 PM A deputy responded to STH 11, Wayne Township for a one vehicle accident. Tabitha M Taylor, 40, South Wayne was exiting a driveway onto STH 11 when she lost control of the vehicle which caused the vehicle to exit the roadway and enter the ditch. Taylor’s 1991 Buick, received minor damaged and was towed from the scene. South Wayne First Response, South Wayne Fire Department and Green County EMS assisted on scene. Taylor was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
● 8:54 PM Deputies responded to Maple St, Village of Blanchardville for a disorderly conduct. As a result, Derek M Ball, 43, Milwaukee was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Damage to Property, Resisting Arrest, Threats to Law Enforcement and Probation and Parole hold. Ball was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody. Green County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.
On April 4:
● 5:33 AM Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to CTH U, Seymour Township for a one vehicle accident. Heather A Ahrens, 32, Charlotte, IA was traveling southbound on CTH U in her 2005 Chevrolet when she failed to negotiate a curve and went into the ditch, striking a tree. Ahrens was transported with minor injuries and her vehicle was towed from the scene with disabling damage. Ahrens was cited for Failure to Maintain Control.
● 9:15 AM A deputy responded to E Center ST in the Village of South Wayne for a traffic complaint.
● 10:19 AM Belmont Fire and EMS responded to USH 151, Belmont Township for a medical emergency. Southwest Health EMS and Belmont Police assisted on scene.
● 11:29 AM A deputy responded to STH 11 in the Village of South Wayne for traffic control.
● 12:25 PM A deputy responded to STH 11 in the Village of South Wayne for a minor two vehicle accident. Jill M Schultz, 49, South Wayne was traveling westbound on STH 11 in her 2011 Buick. Randall M Patterson, 68, Monroe was stopped at a Stop Sign in his 2017 Chevrolet. Patterson proceeded into the intersection and did not see Schultz and struck her vehicle. Both subjects denied EMS and Schultz’s vehicle was towed from the scene with severe damage, while Patterson’s vehicle received minor damage and was driven from the scene. Patterson was cited for No Valid Driver’s License and Failure to Yield the Right of Way.
