Linda L. Isbell, age 66, of Browntown, died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home after a long battle with heart disease. Linda was born December 2, 1946 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Dale G. Logue Sr. and Ruby M. (Surrell) Logue. Linda moved to Green County in 1979. She lived with her daughter, Nannie, and her family for the past 10 years and enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. Linda liked to read, watch movies, go to rummage sales, and play Farmville.
She is survived by four children, Linden (Janey) Isbell of Somerset, KY, Nannie Marie (Terry) Svendsen of Browntown, Steven (Amanda) Isbell, and Jason Isbell, all of Bement, IL; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Estella Logue of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Dale Jr., Billy, Larry, and Leo Logue.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. Lawrence Balleine officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m until the time of services. A memorial fund will be established in Linda's name.
