Leslie J. Grinnell, age 60, of Rockford, IL, died on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg. He was born on July 7, 1953 in Monroe, the son of Lester and Patricia (Wilson) Grinnell Jr.
Leslie served in the U.S. Marines.
Leslie and Nola Ericksen were married in 1988.
Leslie was a Monroe High School graduate and was employed with SK Plastics and later started his own business in landscaping.
He is survived by his wife, Nola of Rockford, IL; sons, Chad Grinnell of FL, Scott Grinnell of TX; daughter, Leslie Grinnell, of TX; 1 grandchild; mother, Patricia Grinnell of Monroe; brothers, Billy (Darlene) Grinnell of Juda, Stacey (Amy) Grinnell of Belleville, Keith (Deb) Grinnell of Brodhead, Lonny (Brenda) Grinnell of South Wayne; sisters, Tina Grinnell of Janesville, Robin (Lee) Crum of Brodhead, Ann Grinnell of Monroe, Dena (Pat) Brown of MN; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Leslie was predeceased by his father, Lester and son, Jamie Grinnell.
