LeRoy "Roy" LaDow, age 83, of South Wayne, WI, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, at his home. He was born August 6, 1931 in Willow Springs Township, WI, the son of Orlando and Annice (McKillip) LaDow.

Roy attended Holy Rosary Catholic School in Darlington. He was united in marriage to Charlene Buehler on July 21, 1956 at the Sheriff's Department in Darlington. Roy farmed in Lafayette County for many years. He later went into construction work with his brother, LaVerne LaDow, for 33 years before retiring in 1991.

Roy is survived by his wife: Charlene at home; nine children: Linda (Randy) Hanson of Argyle, WI, Annice LaDow Mau of Brodhead, WI, Mary Jane (Dan) Reinbold of Woodford, WI, Donna May (Craig) Brummer of Madison, WI, Jeff (Donna) LaDow of Freeport, IL, David (special friend,

Teresa Hesselbacher) LaDow of South Wayne, James (Leasha) LaDow of South Wayne, Tracy (Amber) LaDow of Gratiot, WI, and Chester (Angela) LaDow of Gratiot; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Joe (Helen) LaDow of South Wayne and LaVerne LaDow of Dodgeville, WI; and four sisters: Lois Noble of South Wayne, Retha Blackbourn of Warren, IL, Mary (Alan) Skutt of Warren, and Lynda (significant other, Steve Buehl) Blum of Monticello, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Orlando LaDow; one grandson: Robert Albert Erickson; and one brother: Jack LaDow.

Roy was a car enthusiast. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Roy loved hunting and visiting with his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday, January 12, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 213 North Lafayette Street in Argyle, a branch of St. Isidore Parish with Rev. Thomas Gillespie officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery in Yellowstone. A visitation will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home, 801 East Milwaukee Street in Argyle.
