On January 21:

● 3:52 p.m. Platteville Fire and Southwest Health EMS responded to CTH XX, Belmont Township for a one vehicle accident. Thomas P Murphy, 25, Belmont was traveling on CTH XX where he went off the roadway resulting in a rollover. Murphy denied injuries and his 2020 Chevrolet received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. A deputy and Platteville Police Department assisted on scene.

● 9:26 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH P, Shullsburg Township for a hit and run.

On January 22:

● 4:07 a.m.  Deputies responded to STH 81, Seymour Township for a vehicle in the ditch.

● 5:34 a.m.  A deputy responded to STH 11, Shullsburg Township for a vehicle in the ditch.

● 6:05 p.m.  A deputy responded to N Judgement ST in the City of Shullsburg for a minor two vehicle accident.

● 7:27 p.m.  Cuba City Fire responded to Coulthard LN, Elk Grove Township for a possible electrical fire. A deputy assisted on scene.

On January 23:

● 7:37 a.m. A deputy responded to USH 151, Belmont Township for a vehicle in the ditch.

● 8:00 a.m. A deputy responded to USH 151, Belmont Township for a vehicle in the ditch.

On January 24:

● 4:57 a.m. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to STH 23, Willow Springs Township for a one vehicle rollover. A deputy and Darlington Police assisted on scene.

On January 25:

● 7:53 p.m. Kristine M Leverton, 43, Warren reported striking a deer on CTH W, New Diggings Township. No injuries were reported. Leverton’s 2022 received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On January 27:

● 4:34 p.m. Koty M Diaz, 31, Janesville was arrested for Operating after Revocation. Diaz was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and posted bond. Diaz was also cited for Speeding on STH 11, Benton Township.

● 4:59 p.m. A deputy responded to Kingsley RD, Gratiot Township for a theft.

On January 28:

● 8:29 a.m. Shullsburg Fire and EMS responded to CTH O, White Oak Springs Township for a one vehicle rollover. Terrance J Mutert, 57, Shullsburg was traveling northbound on CTH O in a 2005 Dodge  when he lost control, struck a snow bank and overturned. Mutert denied EMS and his vehicle was towed from the scene with disabling damage. Mutert was cited for Failure to keep Vehicle under Control.

● 4:46 a.m. Hannah M Hauser, 26, Darlington reported striking a deer on Wildcat Rd, Willow Springs Township. Hauser’s 2017 Jeep received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
