Kenneth Frydenlund, age 83 of Albany, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at his home. He was born on August 31, 1928 in Madison, the son of Samuel and Ingeborg (Hjelvik) Frydenlund. Kenneth married Norma J. Disch on October 10, 1949 in Monticello, WI. Kenneth worked for Colt Industries in Beloit. He was a member of Albany United Methodist Church, Albany Masonic Lodge #36 F &A M, and the Albany Lions Club and received the Melvin Jones Fellowship award.

He is survived by his wife Norma of Albany; sons: James Frydenlund of Albany and John (Sheri) Frydenlund of Albany; daughter, Catherine Inabnit of Albany; grandchildren Craig, Jeff, Jill, Melanie, Luke and Heidi; great-grandchildren Michael, Trevor, Kylie, Dexel, Maddex, Brayden, Brodyn and Jackson; a special cousin, Jerry Miller of Albany, step-brother, Robert Strand; step-sisters: Marilyn Baumgartner and Nancy Moltumyr. He was preceded in death by, parents, sister, Shirley; step-mother, Doris Frydenlund, step-brother, Fred Strand, and a son-in-law, Melvin Inabnit.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Albany Lions Club, with Pastor Pat Soddy officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery, Albany. A visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Albany Lions Club, with a Masonic service to follow; and Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorials may be given in Kenneth's name to either, the Albany Lions Club or the Albany Methodist Church Building Fund. Shriner Hager Gohlke funeral home is assisting the family.
