Kathryn I. Flesher, age 90, of Monroe, Wisconsin, died Monday, November 28, 2011 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on August 30, 1921 in Monroe, WI, the daughter of Andrew and Ida (McCool) Legler and attended Dry Goods Box School in Adams Township.
Kathryn married Arthur W. Flesher on January 16, 1940 at St. John's Evangelical Church in Monroe. Kathryn farmed along with her husband in the Monticello area for many years and later worked at Advance Transformer for 20 years. Kathryn was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John's Evangelical Church.
Surviving are her children: Arthur Gene (Melody) Flesher of Monticello, and Nancy Hahn of Janesville; daughter-in-law, Christine Flesher of Madison; sisters, Lillian Kolb and Darlyne Sulzer both of Monroe; several grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, Arthur; sons, Larry and Richard; sisters Leona Neuenschwander, Rose Smith, and Alice Spiech; brothers, Andrew and Robert Legler.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Monticello WI.
Visitation will be from, 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Funeral Home.
