Kathleen A. Nyman, age 78, of Monroe, died on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 27, 1935 in Monroe, daughter of Joseph and Pauline (Affolter) Jones Sr.
She graduated from Juda High School.
Kathleen and Delbert Harder were married November of 1957 in Juda, WI; and she later married Paul Nyman February of 2004 in Freeport, IL.
Kathleen was a nurses aid for St. Clare Hospital for 22 years, was a prep-cook at the Waffle Shop and Swiss Colony and later was a cook at Pleasant View for 18 years. She enjoyed collecting cups, owls and enjoyed doing crafts with the "Hand in Hand" group.
She is survived by her son, James Harder Sr., of Huntington, IN; daughter, Tami Powell of Beloit; brothers, Anthony Jones, Joe (Julie) Jones both of Juda, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, husband, Paul; and son, Richard Harder.
Memorial services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home with Pastor Pat Soddy officiating.
A visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. A memorial fund is being established.
