Judith A. Piette, age 59 of Albany, died Monday, March 7, 2016 at U. W. Hospital in Madison. She was born on August 25, 1956 in Darlington, the daughter of Henry and Alice (Walrach) Hawkinson. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1974 and attended 1 year of college for landscaping at Black Hawk Technical College.

She was employed with Woodbridge for 25 years and later worked at Kuhn Knight Manufacturing in Brodhead.

Judy enjoyed gardening, flowers, waterfalls, canoeing, collecting crystal and belonged to a traveling Euchre card party.

She is survived by her partner, Lee Boeck; father, Henry (Betty) Hawkinson of Rewey, WI; grandchildren: Troy Hawkinson, Briana Schoville and Dana Sangermano, all of Monroe, Erica (Michael) Mills of Madison, and Shayna Boeck of Monroe; and great-grandson, Jason; daughter-in-law, Angie Schoville; step-son, Shannon Boeck of Lena, IL; sisters: Sue (Clarence) Martin of Monroe, Linda (Dale) Belke of Brodhead, and Carla (Jason) Watts of Oakfield, WI; brothers: Jim Knudson of Monroe, Dave (Linda) Hawkinson of Gays Mills, WI, and Larry Hawkinson of Platteville; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice, children, Rita Piette and Tim Hawkinson; a brother, Chuck Hawkinson; sister, Donna Green, and a nephew, Alan Green.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 11, 2016 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Dr., and 18th Ave., in Monroe, with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Blanchardville.

A visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
