Juanita Scace, age 73, formerly of Monticello entered into eternal life on Friday, April 18, 2014. Juanita was born on January 5, 1941 in Cottondale, Florida. She is survived by her husband, Orthel "Sam" Scace; children, Deborah Reiling (Mike Norris), Lee Cook, Anna Cook, Howie (Annette) Drye, Michelle Plescia (Richard Hagen), Gary Drye, Cassandra Cook; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, and loved ones. She was preceded in death by sons, Charles Cook and John Cook; and grandchildren, Jeremiah Cook and Cristina Bishop.

Juanita was married to the love of her life, Sam, for 41 years. She found happiness through her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Family was the center of her world. She was defined by her selfless nature, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was the wind beneath the wings of those around her and that gave her such joy. It is impossible to put into words the impact she had on the lives she touched. Juanita was more than the titles of Wife, Mom, Nana, Friend - she was an Angel in a human body. While her physical presence may be gone from this earth, her spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those she loved.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014, at 11:00 A.M., at the Washington Reformation United Church of Christ, rural Monticello, with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating.
