BRODHEAD - Joyce A. Trutman, age 85, of Brodhead, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013, at Cedar Crest Nursing Home, Janesville. She was born on February 11, 1928 in Sylvester Township, Green County, WI, the daughter of Edward and Leona (Frei) Reasa. She married John C. Trutman on May 25, 1950 in Janesville. He passed away on February 5, 2006.

Joyce taught at a country school before teaching at Brodhead Elementary School for 40 years, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, sewing, the UW-Badgers, and the Milwaukee Brewers.

She is survived by her son, Joel Trutman of Brodhead and was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother, Guy Reasa.
