Jeanette L. Muralt, age 78 of Monticello, Wisconsin died Friday, February 5, 2016 at Meriter Hospital. She was born on February 5, 1938 in Brodhead; the daughter of Arthur and M. Marie (Hoover) Thompson. She attended Janesville schools. Jeanette married O. Harold Purdy and later Aaron Muralt on January 2, 1961 in Georgia. She farmed in the Albany area, she also worked at General Motors, Advance Transformer, Springs Window Fashions, Farm & Fleet, and also did baby-sitting. Jeanette enjoyed bowling, gambling, playing cards, and most of all taking care of her grandkids and great-grandkids.

She is survived by her children; Georgean (Roger) Hunt of Evansville, Pamela (Michael) Parker of Evansville, Mariann (Jerry) Rufer of Monticello, Lisa Olson (Tom Gearmann) of Stoughton, Donna Muralt (Scott Bredeson) of Argyle, Billy Muralt (Greg Moritz) of Madison, and Jeff (Darla) Muralt of Oklahoma; grandchildren; Timothy (Nicole) Muralt, Jon (Savanna) Bollig, Katie (Darren) Davenport, Ryan (Jan) Hunt, Nicholas (Angela) Hunt, Benjamin (Brenda) Hunt, Grant Parker, Reed Parker, Ava Parker, Shaianna Parker, Leon Parker, Kamron Parker, Sarah (Jonathon) Ragan, Nathan (Sydnei) Parker, Jolene (Chris) Wilkins, Michael (Kelsey Bortz) Olson, Ashley (Brandon Clark) Olson, Tyler (Christina) Muralt, Ryen Muralt, and Daniell (Derek) Evers; and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents; sons: Timothy and Kenneth Purdy, and Michael Muralt; brothers, Arthur, Edward, William, and Robert Thompson; and sisters, Ruth Thompson and Dorothy Powers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 12, 2016 at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive and N. 18th Avenue in Monroe, with Michael Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Gap Cemetery, rural Albany, WI.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A memorial fund is being established in Jeanette's memory.
