BENTON - Helen "Sis" Ruth Reinbold, 82 of Benton, Wisconsin, died on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Lafayette County Manor, Darlington. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 20, 2008 the Free Methodist Church, Platteville. Burial will be at Leadmine Primitive Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home, Platteville, friends may also call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Free Methodist Church, Platteville, Mission Work. The Melby-Bendorf Funeral Home, Platteville, is serving the family. Helen was born on October 17, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Helen (Hunt) McKay. She grew up in Beverly, Illinois, and attended Morgan Park High School. She attended Albion and graduated from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. Helen was united in marriage to George L.H. Reinbold on June 15, 1946, in Morgan Park, Illinois. She was a homemaker. Helen raised three boys and was very active in the local church. They moved to Leadmine, Wisconsin, in 1975. She enjoyed watching birds, tending to her flowers and canoeing. She is survived by three sons, David (Phyllis) Reinbold of Darlington, WI; Thomas Reinbold of Singers Glen, VA; Daniel (Mary Jane Hammer) Reinbold of Argyle, WI; five grandchildren, Nicole Reinbold of Madison, WI; Andrew Reinbold of Monroe, WI; Jennifer (Andrew) Martinez of Monroe, WI; Jennifer and Brandilynn Reinbold of Illinois; two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Jocelynn Martinez; one brother, Ed (Mary) McKay of Lansing, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, on December 25, 2007 and her parents.
