Helen Louise Lostetter, 84, of Boscobel, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Center, Fitchburg, WI.

Helen was born on February 8, 1927 in Steuben, WI daughter of George and Cora (O'Brien) LeGeune. She married Charles M. Lostetter on April 28, 1946. He preceded her in death on September 3, 2006.She was raised in Steuben, and after her marriage, lived in Lancaster, Monroe, DeForest and Boscobel.

Helen was a happy person who enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, visiting with family and friends, playing euchere and trying her luck at the casinos. She loved decorating for the holidays and was a wonderful cook who always enjoyed cooking and baking for family holidays. Helen was a lifelong member of the Moose, and past member of the Oddfellow Lodge- Rebekahs. She and her husband were the first couple that were both presidents of their lodges at the same time.

She is survived by three sons, Robert (Linda) Monroe, Dennis (Joyce) DeForest, and Timothy (Madgeline) of Boscobel.7 Grandchildren: Karen (John) Trapani, Staten Island NY, Dennis Lostetter of NYC, Thomas (Blair) Lostetter, WVA, Jason Lostetter, Monroe, Tara (Tim) Fischer of Mason, MI, Hefner Lostetter, Florida and Cyline Lostetter Jamaica. 6 Great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sisters: Doris Kartmann, Lancaster, Avonelle Glasbrenner, and Marcella (Ignatius) Fusher, Boscobel, and Hazel Crowley, Steuben, sisters in law Grace Gullickson, Stoughton, Marilyn Noble, Poynette, Susan Lostetter, Elk Mound, Pat LeGeune of Adams, Lee LeGeune of Melrose Park, IL, and brother in law Donald (Joyce) Lostetter of Sun City, AZ.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Cliff, Clyde and Cecil LeGeune.

Service is Friday, July 15, at 11 a.m. at Kendall Funeral Home, Boscobel with visitation prior to service.
