Gerald LeRoy Andrews, age 74, of Monroe, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at his home. He was born on March 17, 1943 the son of Willard and Helen (Vivan) Andrews in Darlington. He was united in marriage to Beverly A. Sulzer on June 14, 1969 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Monroe.

Gerald honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked many years in the Monroe area at Green Co, FS, and delivering for Monroe Truck Equipment, until his retirement.

Gerald is survived by his wife Beverly; children, Travis (Amanda) Andrews, Tammy Andrews and Tonya (Lonny) Johnson; grandchildren, Zabrina, Gabrielle, and Garion Johnson; brothers, Donny (Shirley), Lester (Lynn), Leslie (Judy), Merlin (Eloise), Neil (Carla), and Keith (Becky) Andrews; sisters, Nancy (Joe) Herbst, Marion (Ed) Stanton, and June (Dave) Hoppenjan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Alfred and Betty Sulzer; and infant son, Todd David Andrews. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Rev. Kathleen Rinear officiating.
