NEW GLARUS - Police assisted New Glarus Area EMS with a call in the 400 block of 10th Avenue at 4:31 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14.
• Police assisted New Glarus Fire First Response and Belleville EMS with an injured football player in the 1400 block of 2nd Street at 6:22 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14.
• Police assisted New Glarus Area EMS with a call in the 500 block of 4th Avenue at 3:46 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19.
• Police assisted New Glarus Area EMS with a call in the 600 block of 6th Avenue at 6:28 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19.
• The New Glarus Fire Department and police were dispatched for a report of smoke inside a residence to the 400 block of 2nd Street at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20. The source of the smoke was a boiler in the basement that had malfunctioned.

MONROE - Area fire departments were dispatched to the W3300 block of County W in Exeter Township at 10:01 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, for a report of smoke coming from a barn. It was actually just steam from a corn dryer, and there was no fire.
• An ambulance was dispatched to the N8800 block of Hannah Road in Exeter Township at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.
