Monroe Police

MONROE - An ambulance was dispatched:

- At 8:22 a.m. Friday, May 4, to the 2600 block of 9th Avenue.

- At 11:01 p.m. Saturday, May 5, to the 200 block of 3rd Street.

MONROE - The Monroe Fire Department was dispatched at 11:08 p.m. Saturday, May 5, for a car that had overheated and caught on fire on Wisconsin 69. The driver was able to park the car safely in the 700 block of 21st Street. The fire originated in the engine compartment. The vehicle was totalled.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - An ambulance was dispatched:

- At 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 30, to a medical call at the New Glarus Elementary School.

- At 2:20 p.m. Sunday, May 6, to a medical call for a subject with an accidental injury at an unspecified location in New Glarus.

NEW GLARUS - The New Glarus Fire Department was dispatched:

- At 4:47 p.m. Monday, April 30, to a general fire alarm at New Glarus Elementary School. It was a false alarm triggered by someone pulling the handle of a fire box.

- At 10:34 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, to a general fire alarm at The New Glarus Home, Inc., 600 2nd Ave. It was a false alarm triggered by construction workers using a blow torch near a fire sensor.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - An ambulance was dispatched:

- At 10:22 a.m. Saturday, May 5, to a residence on Puddle Dock Road in the Town of Argyle.

- At 2:58 p.m. Saturday, May 5, to a residence on Galena Street in Argyle.
