DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:
• Benton Fire Department responded to a mutual aid request to Jo Daviess County for a barn fire at 1:04 p.m.
• Gratiot Fire Department responded to a corn field on fire at 2:54 p.m. on West Church Road, Gratiot Township. Fire departments from Wiota, South Wayne, Darlington, Argyle and Green County assisted at the scene.
• Argyle Fire Department responded at 6:04 p.m. to an out-of-control grass fire on Wildlife Road, Argyle Township.
